Burdett, 
I miss you so very much. I don't know what to do without you. My friend, my nephew, and one of the best boys I had ever met. I remember meeting you in 4th grade summer school and I had thought of you every day until we met at lakeview middle school that fall day.  The  one thing I remember you telling me was "Don't quit school. Get you education and you will be a success." Well burdett, I have wonderful news, I did just that and the  one I saw walking with me when I went into the gym was you.  It wasn't some guy that I didn't know. I know you're proud of me and that you stood right there with me.
